ROMANTIC HOCKING HILLS

Whoever said that romance is dead has never made a trip to Hocking Hills.
In these trying and stressful economic times, we all need a break away to reconnect and focus on the real riches of our lives. Sneak away to Ash Cave.Together discover the many treasures and waterfalls. Hike the miles of trails throughout Hocking Hills State Park. There is something about the unbridled stillness and peace of nature that will take your breath away. There is so much to see and do that one trip will never be enough. Best of all, it is absolutely FREE!

SPRING BREAK

A Spring Break is not complete unless you plan a visit to the Hocking Hills region in southeastern Ohio. We have been enjoying 60's and 70's with blue skies, perfect for hiking. On a recent hike this week I was lucky enough to spot a rare Woodcock and the manificent Bald Eagle
The clear night skies are perfect for star gazing. Spring is the best time to see one of the sky's best known figures, the Big Dipper.
Start spring off with a perfect event. Chef Anthony is hosting a Spring Cooking Class March 27-28 here at the Inn. Begin on Friday evening with a glass of wine and dessert. Log on to our website for more information.

MARCH ATTRACTIONS IN HOCKING HILLS-OHIO

Chef Anthony has graciously shared the Green Fairy Martini recipe on YouTube. This will be featured March 17, to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
Mark your calendars and plan to attend our Spring weekend cooking class March 27-28. Space is limited for this event so reserve early.

After a long winter, the hidden treasures of early spring blooms are a welcome sight. Snow trillium, trout lily and the ever eluding lady slipper make their appearances.
There are many free activities and attractions in Hocking Hills that we thought you may be interested in.
Join Naturalist at Cedar Falls March 13, at 3pm to explore and discover the unique natural and cultural history of this area.
If you are interested in birdwatching, bring along a pair of binoculars to Conkle's Hollow parking lot March 27, 6:30pm for the American Woodcock Watch. This bird has one of the most elaborate courtship rituals.
