Dear Friends,
It is hard to believe, but in just 5 short days the Labor Day Holiday weekend will be upon us. For most of us, this signals the end of summer. There will be cooler weather, shorter days, and less time to grill out with friends and family. Friday nights will be filled with high school football games. Saturday afternoons will soon be filled with raking leaves and Sundays may be spent making comfort foods like chili and warming up by the fire.
I say, take advantage of the holiday weekend with a great weather forecast and get away from home, even if it is just for the day! See the sights in Hocking Hills. Meet the naturalists and hike the trails. There are lazy afternoon lunches to be eaten, geocaches to find, and caves to explore. If you are not a hiker, leave your stress at the front door of our spa. Schedule a massage, scrub and wrap or an energy treatment with one of our Licensed Therapists. Who needs to hike 12 miles when you can be pampered into relaxation. After your day of adventures, nothing is better than sitting down to a gourmet meal served with a smile. Make reservations for dinner at The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls where a four course meal is a perfect way to end your day.
Whether you visit the Hocking Hills this weekend or grill burgers and stay at home, we hope enjoy one of the last weekends this summer with family and friends.
